Bachelor of Business (Hons) Finance & Economics
This programme is designed to equip students with in-depth understanding of economic behaviour and an extensive knowledge of the financial sector, drawing upon the many insights of modern theories in economics and finance.
Graduates from this programme will ultimately acquire relevant insight and capabilities that enable them to hold positions of great responsibility in the economic and financial system, financial institutions, international organisations, supervisory authorities and central banks.
Professional Accreditation: Graduates will be provided with a solid foundation to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme.

Entry Requirements
SPM/O Level
Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits (including a Pass in Mathematics and English) for entry with pre-university /foundation qualification. Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 3 credits (including a Pass in Mathematics and English) for entry with Diploma qualification. Note: Candidates without a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM / Matriculation / Foundation / Diploma programme contains subjects in Mathematics and English that are equivalent and achieved higher at SPM level.
Pre-university qualifications
SAM/SACE International: ATAR 55, A Levels: EE or equivalent of min 80 pts, CPU: Min average of 50% in 6 subjects, STPM: CC min CGPA 2.0, UEC: A Pass in UEC with min 5Bs, Taylor's Foundation/Diploma: Pass any Taylor's Foundation/ Diploma programme with min CGPA 2.00, IB: 24 pts and above for 6 subjects, MUFY: 255/400, Other: Pass Business Foundation from any other HEIHSC (Yr 12), New South Wales with min. average 60% in 5 subjects, Pass MOHE Matriculation with min. CGPA 2.00, Pass Foundation (in other field) from other institutions recognised by MoHE, Pass DIB or Diploma in other field from other institutions recognised by MoHE, Other equivalent qualification recognised by Malaysian Government.
English qualifications
IELTS Overall: Band 5.0, TOEFL: iBT 34, MUET: Band 3, UEC: English B6, Taylor's EET: Overall score 5.0, Taylor’s IEN: Level 2 – Grade C, Completed Pre-U/Diploma that was conducted in English.
