Bachelor of Mass Communication (Hons) (Broadcasting)

This programme prepares students with the required skills of researching, writing, strategising and effective executing of communication plans. Students will also receive equal recognition and certification from both Taylor’s University and the University of the West of England (UWE), UK and the option to transfer to UWE in the final year.

Prerequisites

Pass SPM//O-level or equivalent with 5 credits including English for entry with pre-university / foundation qualification.Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 3 credits including English for entry with Diploma qualification.Note: Candidates without a credit in English at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM / Foundation / Diploma / Matriculation programme contains subjects in English that are equivalent or higher to English at SPM level. SPM /O Level(Pass BM and History in SPM) - Refer Prerequisite.

Pre-university qualifications

SAM / SACEi International: ATAR 55, A levels: EEE (3 subjects), CPU: Average 55% in 6 subjects, STPM: CGPA 2.0 (3 subjects) Min Grade C for each subject, UEC: A Pass in UEC including Min 5Bs including English, TAYLOR'S FOUNDATION / DIPLOMA: Pass any Taylor's Foundation/Diploma programme with CGPA 2.0, IB: 24 points in 6 subjects, MUFY: -55%, OTHER EQUIV. QUALIFICATION: Pass Foundation / Pre-University from any other institution recognised by MOE; or Pass Diploma from any other institution recognised by MOE; or Pass Matriculation from institution recognised by MOE; or Pass HSC with UAI 55%; OR Any other equiv. qualification recognized by M'sian Government.
