The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Financial Technology covers major areas of (1) finance, (2) technology, (3) applied data science, and (4) economics, law and business. It equips students with the knowledge of big data analytics, computer languages (Python, C#, R, Java, etc.), blockchain, machine learning and AI in FinTech applications. It also offers internship opportunities to students. Graduates of the programme may pursue their careers in FinTech per se or in forms that employ FinTech solutions. Some may opt to work for information technology and big data companies, in regulatory compliance roles, or to launch their own start-up companies.
