In Malaysia, the sector has contributed RM80 billion to Malaysia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2018 and created more than 338,087 jobs – additional 157,000 new jobs will be created by 2020. Currently, there is an urgent need to produce skilled manpower in the areas of electronic engineering and technology.
