Digital Art, Design and Cultures (MA)

The MA Digital Art, Design and Cultures is a unique programme that brings together digital media production skills with humanities research and applications to the creative arts (including moving image, interactive media, performance, and creative writing) and digital cultures (theoretical, archival and heritage perspectives).  In this MA, students engage with practice-based research using digital technologies to produce creative art and media within the context of digital cultures. Emphasis is placed on imaginative and innovative uses of communications technologies.

This course equips students to reflect upon and analyse the processes, policies and challenges faced within digital art, design and cultures, with the potential to engage in the areas of literature, drama, film, the visual arts, and music. Additionally, enhance students’ skills in research, communication, and innovative thinking.
