The objectives of the programme are to:

 

1. Produce graduates that are able to apply advanced knowledge, practical and analytical skills to state of the art engineering research problem identification and development of solutions.

 

2. Produce graduates that are able to foster active research with team work and leadership skills through effective communication of research work while demonstrating accountability in conducting research.

 

3. Produce graduates that are able to manage research with adherence to ethical, moral, legal and professional requirements while engaged in continuous learning and personal development.

Entry Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- A Master's Degree (MQF, Level 7) in Engineering or Engineering Technology or Engineering Science accepted by the Higher Educational Provider (HEP) Senate; OR
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Master's Degree (MQF, Level 7) in Engineering or Engineering Technology or Engineering Science that are accepted by the HEP Senate.
English Language Requirements
Malaysian Students:

- MUET Band 3.5 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent OR
- Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Master studies was in English

International Students:

- IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent OR
- Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Master studies was in English
