MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE OF ART (MIA)

Founded in 1967 as a non-profit making organization, MIA has trained and produced thousands of creative professionals who have contributed their creative skills to various industries in this country. In decades of successive generations, this institution has expanded, offering a range of Diploma courses in the field of art, design and music with comprehensive and well-designed course contents. In collaboration with Birmingham City University, MIA has embarked to offer a UK BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design programme locally. This milestone of achievement is to incorporate our intention to provide affordable education and prepare our students to thrive as global players in the design industry.

As a pioneer in Art & Design education, MIA is always evolving to be an excellent education centre within the context of an ever-changing education environment, whilst maintaining its relevance to the Art and Design Industries. The emphasis is placed on the mastery of creative skills, in-depth inquires, conceptual development, critical thinking and digital knowledge.
