Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Media Production (Penang Campus)
Making movies is a new trend in Malaysia. UOW Malaysia KDU’s Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Media Production degree program delivers in-depth knowledge and practical skills on film making and multimedia production including scriptwriting, sound recording, animation, visual and sound effects, post production, etc.
This program emphasizes the quality of content and story-telling elements in the process of media production. Students will acquire the latest industry standard’s practices through engagement with our industry partners in guest lecture sharing sessions, talks, field trips to production houses, real world projects assignments, live show presentations and final year projects. In addition, students will work as interns in related industry for future career development.

STPM / A Level : 2 Principal Passes UEC 5 Credits (5Bs) inclusive of a Credit in English
Diploma : Pass with CGPA ≥ 2.00
Foundation / Matriculation : Pass with min. CGPA 2.00
Australian Matriculation / Foundation : ATAR score of 55
In addition to the above mentioned requirement, the students must have obtained a Credit in English at SPM level or its equivalent.

International Student : Band 5.0 in IELTS; or a min score of 42 (IBT) or 410 (PBT) in TOEFL; or Cambridge English CAE & CPE (from 2015) (154); or PTE Academic (47)
