BOSHM program have been recognised by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), where at the end of this degree program, the BOSHM graduates can claim for their greenbook from DOSH without need to attend the SHO courses at NIOSH and sit for the SHO examination.

Normal Entry
i. MUET Band 3 or TOEFL (550) or IELTS (5.50); AND
ii. Pass Matriculation/Pra University/STPM or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.33 in these 2 subjects:
• Biology
• Physics/Mathematic
• Chemistry
Or
iii. Pass A-Level or equivalent with minimum Grade D in these 2 subjects:
• Biology
• Physics/Mathematic
• Chemistry
Or
iv. Pass Diploma (MQF Level 4) in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; or
v. Pass Diploma (MQF Level 4) in related field with CGPA below 2.75 with a minimum of 3 years (36 months) working experience in related field; or
vi. Other recognised equivalent qualifications.
English competency requirement for international students: Score of TOEFL 550 or IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
