The Bachelor of Science in Architecture (Honours) programme has been accredited by the Board of Architects Malaysia (Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia, LAM) as Part I of the professional programme in architecture. The programme is designed to cater for students who wish to pursue the career of architecture and practice as architects in Malaysia. For candidates without the requisite pre-university qualification, they may choose to complete the Foundation before they are promoted to the Bachelor degree study.

Grade C in 2 relevant subjects listed in Schedule A

(2) A Level

Grade D in 2 relevant subjects listed in Schedule A

Grade B in 5 relevant subjects listed in Schedule A

(4) TAR UMT

Foundation in Arts (Track A) OR Relevant Diploma

(5) Other IHL

Relevant Foundation /Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subjects:
i) (1), (2), (3) and (5) must include SPM Pass/O Level Grade E/UEC Grade C in English Language.*
ii) (1), (2), (3) and (5) must include SPM Credit/O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject.**
iii) (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) must pass in Portfolio Interview conducted by TAR UMT.

*Grade C and aove in AELE0364 English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail English Language at SPM/O Level/UEC.
**Grade B and above in AMMS0104 General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject.

Note:
a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of a Bachelor Degree.
b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
d) Subject to the Ministry of Education's latest requirements.
