JAKIM-UNITEN Tahfiz Al-Quran Certification

JAKIM-UNITEN Tahfiz Al-Quran Certification is a new program introduced by UNITEN in collaboration with Darul Quran, Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (JAKIM). The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed between UNITEN and Darul Quran, JAKIM, which was officiated by YB Dato' Dr. Masyitah Haji Ibrahim, the then Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department.   JAKIM-UNITEN Tahfiz Al-Quran Certification is assisted by a Unit Coordinator and supported by seven lecturers. The learning environment is centred at the UNITEN Mosque. The programme is unique as students who take part in this programme will participate in parallel session and they will attend both academic studies and Tahfiz Darul Quran classes during the same semester.   The JAKIM-UNITEN Tahfiz Al-Quran Certification is a programme designed specifically to produce professional graduates in the Al-Quran and engineering fields. Hence, the incorporation of Islamic sciences and the science of Engineering and Technology is expected to be able to give a new impact in the process of education transformation and thus create a holistic and integrated human capital.
