2023 Scholarships for Pre-University and University Students

Now that you have completed your examinations, it’s time to plan for the next step of your education journey. There are many scholarship opportunities available for students applying to enter pre-university and university courses in 2023. Depending on your field of study and financial needs, you may find scholarships from both public and private sources. 

We have compiled the following information to help you know more about available scholarships. Here are some scholarships that are currently on offer.

1. Binary University Scholarship 

Binary University, established in 1984 is one of the oldest private higher education institutions in the country. In conjunction with its 39th anniversary, Binary University's senate has authorized a special scholarship aimed to alleviate the financial burden of parents affected by the pandemic. The MyBinary Unity Scholarship is worth RM75 million and will benefit 100 students who have completed SPM, SPMV, Matriculation and STPM.

Scholarship Application Requirements 

• Minimum qualification: SPM with 5 credits 
• Students must complete the entire Diploma or Bachelor's degree course 
• Students who stop at the Foundation level or do not proceed to Years 1, 2 and 3 of the degree program must "payback" 100% of the tuition fees

Entry Date 

Students may choose the following entry dates:

1. Course entry date: 10 May 2023

    Application closing date: 14 April 2023 

2. Course entry date: 12 July 2023 

    Application closing date: 20 June 2023

2. Kuok Foundation Scholarship 2023 

Kuok Foundation Bhd provides financial support in the form of scholarships, grants, and loans in the following categories to poor, underprivileged, and worthy students who are working hard to break the cycle of poverty through education. They offer various scholarships for students who are applying for or currently pursuing a first degree in universities in Malaysia, Singapore and the U.K.
