While most people get flowers or chocolates for Valentine’s Day, three TAR UMT students were presented something different – two awards in the Deloitte Tax Challenge (DTC) Southeast Asia (SEA) 2025.
On 14 February 2025, TAR UMT’s Genevere Foo Wen Shun, Quek Wan Qi and Bryan Sim Myng Roong teamed up with Loh Xin Ying from Xiamen University Malaysia to represent Malaysia at this regional competition held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Up against the best teams from Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines, the Malaysian team successfully claimed the Second Runner-up and Best Writer Award in the team category.
