Claz’room College and Level Infinite Celebrates Champions with Honor of Kings Art and Cosplay Competition

Kuala Lumpur, 27 September 2024 - Claz’room College, a distinguished Malaysian Creative Art and Design institution, successfully hosts the National Honor of Kings Art and Cosplay Competition with Level Infinite, an international gaming corporation under the illustrious Tencent Games, to bridge the gap between the digital creative industry and rising youths. The recently concluded competitions provided a platform for young creative minds from across Malaysia to showcase their outstanding talents, unveiling the future prospects of the creative industry. 

Moreover, the Grand Opening of the new Claz’room College campus was officiated by the esteemed guests, Dato Kamil Othman, the chairman of National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), alongside distinguished guests Dato’ Hjh Fazwinna Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal, the Group Executive Chairman of EMKAY Group. Establishing a new milestone in their journey to nurture virtue and creativity for the society especially in the creative sector. 

“This new campus represents the growth of collective dreams, a shared vision of fostering creativity, and a stronger foundation for learning and exploration.” said Dato’ Hjh Fazwinna Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal, the Group Executive Chairman of EMKAY Group.

“It’s important to nurture the future creative mind of storytelling”, emphasised by Dato’ Kamil Othman.

To build upon the future of creative minds, this prestigious Honor of Kings Competition hosted by Claz’room College and Level Infinite brought together contestants of many backgrounds from over 35 different schools, challenging their capabilities in craftsmanship, creativity, originality, and skills to create their own Honor of Kings masterpieces.

“Seeing the art submission by all the young talents depicting Malaysia elements in their own way was truly inspiring. It really shows how unique and rich our culture is”, said Carynn Lai, Community Manager of Honor of Kings.

The Award Ceremony was celebrated alongside the launching of the Claz’room Campus Grand Opening and the Honor of Kings Art Exhibition. The ceremony gathered over 30 creative industry companies including sponsors and partners such as Comic Fiesta, Republic of Gamers, XP Pen’s representatives amongst many others. Additionally, students and teachers from participating schools joined along the celebration. 

“With a pure heart and a simple belief that we could help young artists bridge the gap between education and industry to achieve their professional dreams," said by Tung Yan-Ning.

Over 80 winners received prizes ranging from sponsored goodies, attractive sponsorships, and in-game prizes reflecting the contenders’ capabilities in 2 categories.  To acknowledge the talents cultivated, a top school award was also awarded to the Yik Ching High School of Perak which students’ saw the most achievements. Additionally, Claz’room extends a warm welcome to the public to visit the Honor of Kings Art Exhibition whose doors will be open until December 2024. 

The top 3 winners for Honor of Kings Art and Cosplay Competition are Lai Hiew Thong (Chong Hwa Independent High School, KL), Mah Yu Xuan (SMJK Chan Wa) and David Goh Yi Hen (SMK Bandar Sri Damansara 2) for the art division. The winners of the Cos-battle Royale were Daphne Chai Jing Ru (Republic Polytechnic), Edison Tang Chee Khean (SMK Confucian), Chloe Liew Zhi Xin (SMK Damansara Jaya) accordingly.
