SOUTHAMPTON TO HOLD UNIVERSITY OPEN DAY ON 18 SEPTEMBER AT MALAYSIA CAMPUS

Have you ever wondered how exciting and fulfilling a career in engineering could be? Look no further as the University of Southampton will be organising a university Open Day this 18 September from 10AM to 2PM at the Educity Development in Iskandar, Johor.

Students and parents are all invited to participate in this event. Packed with presentations and free engineering workshops, the event aims to inspire and to provide counsel to youngsters on the opportunities and rewards of being an engineer in this fast-changing world.

Who’s invited? : Open to pre-university students (SPM, O-levels, A levels, IB Diploma, UEC, MUFEY, STPM, Matriculation)

What’s in store? : USMC graduate testimonials from Jeffrey Teo and Stephanie Teow, both graduated last July; Free engineering workshops on flight simulation, 3D printing, and more. Movie tickets giveaway for lucky visitors during the open day event. Free shuttle service for students and parents who wish to check out the facilities at Educity.

Aside from the free engineering workshops, parents and students can ask questions and speak with the lecturers and staff about the university’s engineering programmes, scholarships, and more. Through this opportunity, visitors will have a better idea of how it is like being a student at the University of Southampton Malaysia Campus. Furthermore, visitors will get a chance to win free premium merchandise from the Independence Day Resurgence movie from the online lucky draw.
